Working Together
The agenda to digitise public services to better serve citizens and local authorities is being hampered by cyber-attacks.
Deep Secure is working with Socitm to help Local Authorities protect themselves from malicious attacks and service disruption by implementing the guidance of the United Kingdom National Cyber Security Centre on safe data import and export.
Download the key findings from our joint workshop on the subject.
Socitm & Deep Secure recently hosted a session to help support Local Authorities to safely enable citizens when interacting with their authority.
We looked at how the UK National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) pattern to Safely Import Data can be effectively implemented to offer a level of security assurance in digital citizen services.
One of the most important steps we can take to support this transformation and to help ensure the availability of public services is to protect local authorities from malicious cyber attacks and the associated service disruption.
If we fail to do this we risk a number of potential impacts, as the results of our workshop survey clearly show.
The UK the National Cyber Security Centre provides advice and support for the country – public and private sector – on how to mitigate computer security threats. It provides guidance "patterns" for safely importing data from an untrusted domain and for exporting information out of a trusted domain.
Deep Secure has been providing cross domain solutions to protect systems for over ten years. It augments and enhances the NCSCs data import and export guidance with a practical implementation that is both comprehensive and cost-effective.
