The data is inspected by breaking it down into its constituent components. This includes all text, images, embedded data and meta data.

The individual components are passed to the rules engines which determine if any part of the data fails to meet the defined policies.

 


 2. Check

The individual components are passed to the rules engines which checks each component to determine if any part of the data fails to meet the defined policies.

Rules can be applied to a granular level from system wide down to an individual.


3. Enforce

A final decision is made based on the results of all rules engines to determine if the data is allowed to pass or not. 

Failed data can be held in quarantine or rejected with administrators notified.
